The Longest Night - created by bandit69
After a disappointing day of autumn photography, and sunset. I was on my drive home, when the sky lit orange and red from the dust in the upper atmosphere well after sunset. Revealing the setting crescent moon. I found the nearest tree, and shot this from the side of a busy highway with no tripod. (5 years and 2664 days ago)

gorgeous photo .. a lil camera shake visible on the tree, but not bad for what u had or didn't have (tri pod) to work with. I always carry a small bean bag with me for just such a situation and use the car hood or top to use to stablize the camera. Make sure to turn vehichle off to eliminate the vibration from the motor.
