It was given to me by my husbands grandmother, before our wedding. I have always loved it and just checked it out in the internet, its worth about $300.00 so I guess will stop letting the grand children use. it. (5 years and 2948 days ago)

You may both be right, and photos that are in your face especially with black backgrounds do win here with great frequency. However, for this photo I wanted something very light and soft, which I feel I have achieved.
