Not only can we clearly see this monarch but we can hear the soft flutter of wings...he's that close to us. You have a very tight crop and with that crop we viewers are pulled in immediately to the image. You have some detail lost in the black , called "black clipping" or "block up", were you shooting on A or Manual mode? This was not an easy image to get right for you have a sunny day and some details lost on the red petals of flowers. Focus is good with his proboscis clearly seen and his beautiful wings have been delightfully caught by you. The colour is natural and fresh.
