Since i don't own macro lens i used a Nikon 50 mm lens with a magnifier in front of it to get a "kind of macro" result.
I set focus to manual,the focal point to 0,45 & i was moving the object with my hand until i get it focus.
RAW file,increase clarity,convert in b&w in PS & crop it a little bit.
Iso 50
F:22 (for maximum DOF)

I think it's a little too dark, I wouldn't eat it.

Blue berries and cream? Either way....it is a bit dark.

great idea, shame it isn't sharper.
well crap! If I'd a known that was chrome I would have had this shot way before! LOL Great idea author but I agree with friiskiwi that I wish it was sharper. Can you retake? I'll hold my vote.

Nice work around - I don't have a macro lens either. When you say you used a magnifier do you mean a magnifying filter or an actual magnifying glass?
An actual magnifying class.The quality of the image is perfect even if is not a "real" macro if you ask me!
