Nice cold blueberry swirl cheesecake. Use a storebought crumb crust-this is Vanilla Wafer. Cream 1 block of cr. cheese, add 1 cup powdered sugar to cr. cheese and beat on med. till smooth. Add 1 Tbls. lemon juice, 1 tsp. vanilla, blend. Then add one 8 oz. thawed tub of cool whip, blend this by hand. Pour into crumb crust. Using end of knife make holes (approx. 20), beat with spoon 1/4 cup blueberry jam till smooth. Put into holes on top of cheesecake, swirl with knife. Place fresh blueberries on top. Melt 2 sq. hershey dk. choc. with 1 tbs. butter and drizzle over the top. YUMMY! Digital photo. (5 years and 2784 days ago)

WHY!? OH my mouth is watering now!!!! This is my favorite! And I love it the way you make it too, just the way my mom used to---no bake.
This is good but I'm wondering if the lighting could have been just a tad different? Maybe some type of fill light so there isn't a shadow on the front side of the cheesecake?

friiskiwi says:

Totally agree withk5683 about the lighting. Perhaps also cut back on the yellow.

I realize you can't retake this (unless you make another one for me but I would try to do what friiskiwi said and bring down the yellows and possibly bring up a tad bit of the blues; it may help make the shadow not so noticeable.

Great input, thank you. I will have to play with the lighting. When I make this again I will definitely do another shot working on the lighting. Again thanks for the great advice.

Cheesecake is such a wonderfully decadent treat. You've made this look yummy and elegant. The recipe looks pretty good, too. MUCH less work and a fluffier result than old-fashioned, baked cheesecake.
