next time try bouncing your flash of the ceiling. that will help eliminate the shadow

like on the attachment flashes.. point it up and it will eliminate that? I believe at this point I didnt have my attachment flash but that is good to know for future reference! TY VERY MUCH

This would be so much better if you chopped out most of the foreground. IMO

I agree the picture would look better but wasn't sure if it would take away or make the "emptiness" aspect of it.

I think this is better, shows better how empty it is.

Looks to me like the highlights have been overworked.

Alright I tried to fix some of the blown out highlights of the original and apparently did not quite succeed. I got to quit submitting entries that were taken with my old camera
