Thank you for the comment. You are quite right. I did overdo the editing with this image (too much structure) which resulted in an exaggerated amount of dirt on her face.

How can we not fall in love with this lovely "wee beastie". Because you have full sharpness on the eyes you captivate us with your post. I am curious about his iris and what an unusual shape they are. No, it does not matter that you have nipped his ears off because it's about the eyes and of course those whiskers that are as sharp "as a whisker". Your tonal ranges are vast with black to white and gray in between. Did you know there are 256 shades of gray? I love how the background disappears for all the attention is on that "smushable" face.
