...I even blackened the threads on the cd case and numbers on the camera lens. Everything else was pure black in a flash. (5 years and 1677 days ago)

Those flowers aren't black, I believe the idea is to have ONLY BLACK in the photo. It is a hard concept to get ones mind around, strange as we had no trouble understanding White on White.
I too have had an image removed and several I haven't uploaded.
They ARE black,,,but silk, which is making them shiny, which is making them appear more gray... I wouldn't lie to you :/
