I set out in hopes to get him having a great time yet to get him as dirty as possible (which he loves to do) and then bring him home. It was a successful day!!! (2 years and 177 days ago)
Yea it did for me. Success is measured in many ways and this is my way. I don't get to see him much so to be able to give him a day that he enjoys the way he wants to and spend that time with him is success. We as a family have been through a lot these past few years so I guess I just see that each day I get to spend with him is a success. I can somewhat see your point but try to put yourself in other peoples shoes and see things the way they do and not always the way you do. Hope that doesn't come across rude, not trying to be. I agree with the author and you all know a kids main way to succeed as a kid is to get as filthy as dirty as possible. Looks like success to me.
