I liked submit this pic with the Brandenburg Gate in the background. There stood the Berlin wall which divided West Germany from East Germany (DDR)

You could straighten the photo a little and chop some of the sides.

It does look much better. I do know how you feel, it's hard to change an image when you really like it, but for this competition, this is much better.

Many of us would recognize the Brandenburg Gate with it like this too.

I know you can't do anything about it now, but I would have loved to see a closer and lower shot of these guys (ie looking up at them as you would a statue). That would also get rid of the noise of the tourists etc in the background. Still a nice find though.

I always try to follow the advice of the best, I'm here to play but also to learn

I felt cold at this shot. Those are terrible memories for those who lived the events of that epoch.
