Since you came up with this idea (witch is a good one) you should try a little bit more to impress the feeling/mood of a praying girl to God IMHO.
The model"looks" like it's sleeping.
You could use light/shadows (with a flash) to give us the feeling of faith/hope!
This is too flat for my taste.

I have to agree with Karaflazz, there is no real feeling in this shot, it looks like the girl closed her eyes because of a flash or bright light, not because she is praying. lack of depth to the image does not help it, as karaflazz has said, it is very flat.

The picture is meant as a JOKE.
She is almost laughing and pretending to pray.
I don't know how you took it seriously.

it maybe a joke author, but it does not alter the fact that the shot is flat and lifeless.
