how did you do the smoke?

Put a cigar in to the gun maybe?
This would all so be GREAT in b&w with out the key light (the light in front that lights the lady).
Using only the fill light would create a beautiful silhouette of the lady & gun in a totally black background(mind the light on her face & hands).
Still a nice composition...

This is really nice! IMO if you can adjust the level curve down abit it should give you that 'feel' perhaps in b&w too. LOVE IT!

Thank you everyone for the comments and suggestions. I tried them all and came up with some awesome results. In the end I decided to leave it the way it is. This contest was about the weapon and since it is a black gun it seems to get lost when adjusting anything. I did however, as i said, come up with some great photos that went into my library of pics. Thank you all again and as always please feel free to pick my pics apart. I continue to learn from you all. I have PM'd everyone who asked about the smoke.
