Contest goal:
Some may call an inexpensive souvenir or a kitschy gift item a knick knack, a dust collector or a trinket. The Yiddish language gives us yet another word to describe such a piece; a tzotchke. A tzotchke, also rendered as chachki or chotchkey in certain sources, literally translates as "piece" from the original Hebrew word katikha. Virtually every tourist destination in the world will have at least one tzotchke store nearby, if not an entire street or village of them.
The goal here is to photograph your favorite chachki in a interesting or unusual setting. Pay close attention to setup and detail and show us your best in color or b&w.

I bought this jewellery box,(about 2.5 inches in diameter), in Thailand 30 over years ago for 150 Thai Baht then. But look carefully, those cracked pieces are tiny pieces of egg shells! Imagine the amount of skilled workmanship that goes into that? And it is still as new and maintain it's egg-shell color today. Nature is unbeatable. (5 years and 1943 days ago)

The Exif data is put there by the admin, not the author. It will be on all entries from now on.

Will someone please explain to me how the admin. knows the EXIF data of an entry, if it is not submitted by the author. Is it encrypted in the entry somehow ? And for entries that are post processed, the EXIF data is lost, is it not ?
The EXIF data is part of the file that you upload normally. So then info is part of the file that you upload. My computer keeps the EXIF when I do some editing so all the information is still intact with the photo.
On my computer, after I edit the photo, the EXIF data is edited too. Unless I keep a copy of the original, a lot of the data about the image is lost. (camera, ISO, exposure, etc.)
