I absolutely love your lighting! Something I have such a hard time with. Like I'm used to having the lights facing my subjects in the studio but today I had a shoot and for some reason it was not working. Too bright! So I bounced it off the ceiling but I can't ever figure out why something is wrong.

First of all...thank you for your nice words.
As i develop a certain style through years,i can assure you that is all about "master" each lighting technique by practicing & reading.I hardly call my self a photographer,so i am not the "specialist" or the "expert" to answer such questions.
My "studio" is a 10sqm room, with a black sheet on the wall (when i use 50mm lens i some times need to go outside the door...lol).
I bought a studio light system last September (for 270 Euro).NOT a pro system but is good enough for the space i have.
I mostly use the "barn doors" to direct the light the way i want to & some times a "soft box" (as a fill light or back light ).I think that you are a very good photographer & there's no way you can't find a way to solve this "problem".I bet you have some "heavy" equipment to "overcome" this.
I really wish i could help more but i can't.
Wish you all the best.

Superb work as always..."I hardly call myself a photographer"? You are far too modest...your work is always amazing and inspirational. Great entry and Good Luck (as if you need it!) LOL Reply »
