Funny how thee are so many stores where they won't let you take photos. I usually find the best way, is to not ask and don't use the flash.

Ah, friiskiwi, no way you can ignore them, lest they call 911, and have you charged with whatever their little heart desires. Also, flash or no flash, chances are that you won't go unnoticed.

I use a wide angle, and point the cam in the general direction I want the shot to be, and take a few 'covert' shots with the cam on my shoulder or hip as if I am just carrying it...

flash is causing blown highlights in the foreground.......

agree w/ kryicom...unlesss the magazine was necessary for the shot, it should have been removed as it distracts from and otherwise perfect pattern...remember to really check your viewfinder before you click author, otherwise nice eye

So, here I was, after voting, trying to figure out why friiskiwi thought this could have been taken at a party! I was starting to wonder what kind of parties Friiskiwi was attending!lol

Different angle, I might have chosen to level the top shelf a bit more, but the variety of color is great...

I already leveled the shot...........I did not want to level it anymore, as it would have messed up other angles on the other shelves and the lighting units above, also, it is a 'covert' shot taken from the hip, and has the effect I was looking for. Thanx for your input though, it is always appreciated....
