step 1 of 11

Select a large part of the image that can be duplicated to remove the gargoyle. (This part shouldn’t include anything too noticeable or it might look cloned).

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 1

step 2 of 11

Duplicate the layer, flip horizontally, combine to the left of layer. Repeat until the end of the image is reached.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 2

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 3

step 4 of 11

Use clone tool to remove some areas that seem unnatural, and then add clouds from source.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 4

step 5 of 11

Select a part of the concrete and warp it to fit and create the other side that’s now missing. (It will look a little stretched but a texture will be added to fix that.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 5

step 6 of 11

Use burn and eraser tools to recreate what it should look like.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 6

step 7 of 11

Add textures, mask them to the concrete, set layers to overlay and change opacity as necessary.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 7

step 8 of 11

I didn’t think the figure needed to have its pants off, so I decided to add some. (Duplicated the pants, transformed, use burn tool to create the pants effect). And, like step 7, the same textures were placed on the figure to fit the concrete look.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 8

step 9 of 11

Added rain, (noise, motion blur, ect.) also added some lightning. For final rain effect, splashes were added to front of figure and some of the concrete. (small scattered white brush)

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 9

step 10 of 11

Background lens blurred and darkened.

Creation of Rainy Day: Step 10

step 11 of 11

For a little bit of contrast and color - hue/saturation>sepia preset, edit>fade>mode soft light>opacity 35%.
