drew the carrot in grey. used hue/saturation to change the color.

added shadows. burn tool, different settings.

dodge tool for highlights.

created the eyes. drew plain white circles, then burn tool around the edge. pupil with a soft black painbrush. shine on the eyes to give more depth with a soft white brush and guassian blur.

added the helmet. drew the brow to give the carrot more expression. dodge and burn. eyebrows drawn in green, smudge tool, then dodge and burn for moer depth.
