Here is the idea of this game.

Give a description of a place, and see who can be the first post the name, and a picture of that place.

For example;
I might say; "The geographical center of France."

and the picture posted would be;

Notre-Dame Cathedral
Image

Or the poster might say; "The Military Disaster of June 25, 1876"

and the picture posted might be;
The Battle of Little Bighorn (Custer's Last Stand)
Image

Ok, we'll start off easy, the first one is;

The world change here at 5:29 a.m. Mountain Time on July 16, 1945.

After six months of intense fire-bombing of 67 other Japanese cities, followed by an ultimatum given by the United States President Harry S. Truman which was ignored by the Shōwa regime, the nuclear weapon "Little Boy" was dropped on the city of Hiroshima on Monday, August 6, 1945. The picture below is within 150m of the epicenter shows the destruction. Photo of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial among the ruins of buildings in Hiroshima, in early October, 1945, photo by Shigeo Hayashi.

The day The Beatles' American invasion began. The Beatles' Boeing 707, Pan Am flight 101, left London Airport early on the morning of 7 February 1964, bound for New York City.

Not so sure about how this is still impacting the world but it is an event that happened on that day. Below is a picture of their arrival in New York City.

The picture below is a hint. :shock:
