I'm confused here regarding submitted tutorials. Couldn't find much info about it in the FAQs or forums. If there is any, can someone please point me to it?

I've written another tutorial some time ago and it wasn't approved (status says: almost made it). I hadn't noticed it before but it says in my profile that I have 2 exclusive tutorials when it should only be one. Also when viewing this tutorial, the breadcrumbs show that it is filed under Exclusive Tutorials. Just to be sure, I checked the list of exclusive tutorials and my unapproved tutorial isn't listed there. The only way to access this tutorial is through my profile tutorials link. I guess this is a bug?

Or does this mean that regardless of its disapproval, it is still considered exclusive? I'm assuming here exclusive means 'exclusive to pxleyes' or something?? :-\

So if the unapproved tutorial is not exclusive, would it be alright to use the entire post or portions of it on a different site/blog (regardless of whether it will be modified or not)?

Thanks!

I do not fully understand your question but let's see if I can answer it anyway.

- An unapproved tutorial is not published though/on PXL, this means you can see it in your tutorials list but others can not see it posted at pxleyes
- unapproved means you can post / publish / sell this tutorial on another site, the admin did not buy this tutorial so it is still yours to do with it whatever you want
- an exclusive tutorial is a tutorial which is posted first at pxleyes, the admin paid the author of it and thereby bought it. Others sites can link to it but have to mention pxleyes as copyright holder.
- this also means that if a tutorial is approved and you got paid for it, you do not have the right to post it somewhere else anymore, you got paid and with that gave pxleyes the exclusive rights to publish it; hence the name exclusive
- 'almost made it' means that the tutorial itself is good but not good enough or any other reason according to the admin for him to buy that tutorial.

Hope that answers your questions.

If it states "waiting for approval" then that is what you must do, WAIT!!!!!
This site doesn't necessarily revolve around you and your tutorial, so be patient. It is being commented and voted on, and if things appear positive and the admin think it is worthwhile then they will consider accepting it. This could take a couple of weeks. So WAIT!!!!!

Patience is a virtue CoolHub so chill out and wait for them to get to it.
