At present there is no way to tell how many if any points gained after the 1st 6 place-getters. but looking at my entries that gained 65 or above but weren't in the first 6 I should have earned 493 TP last week, but have only got 43.

Uh i thought i was seeing things last Sunday, now i guess i was not lol I had more than 2600TP now i think it went back 35p instead of going forward, I got 2573 atm.

Frank tells me he has it all sorted and we should be right on Sunday.

Now I am not sure to be honest but why I am still level 16 knowing that I just won 3rd place in photography right now, I feel that my talent points are stuck at the same level for some reason, would you care MM to check them out for me please? i would appreciate that.

You need 520 talent points for level 17...
One or two more top 7 entries should do the trick!

I didn't keep up with the point and I never do, thank you for your clarification again!

I have just become aware of some "new system" here. It would have been nice to have a 'heads-up' about any proposed changes, with a banner on the log-in page or something. I don't frequent the forum a lot, and I'm sure I'm not the only member in that situation. So how are we to know when there's a big change on the site? Just a thought.

From previous posting: 'One or two more top seven entries', so, Mr.M, does that mean that any entry with a place of anywhere from first to seventh (like it's been for quite a long time) will earn some points? If that's the case, then why did my recent 6th place entry receive no points? Where are the details of the 'new system', I would like to be informed.

pearlie, here is the new system

The Top 7 keeps earning the same TP as always, except when there are too few entries. I've used Alan's suggestion for this, as follows:

Top 3 gain TP if there are less than 7 entries
Top 5 gain TP if the entries are between 7 and 15
Top 7 gain TP if over 15 entries

Then, for the score... All entries above 65% will be rewarded with a (small) amount of bonus TP.
This amount is simple to calculate: ENTRY SCORE minus 65. This means the max BONUS TP = 35 (when an entry scores 100%)

I think it's a better system than before.
