Glad to have you here and I was surprised to see how young you are! But you know what? It doesn't matter, it's great that you have the courage to compete in the contests with the "seniors" of the site. And I admire that!
Hey, we can only learn from our mistakes and the critiques, so keep your entries coming and don't be discouraged! My entries suck big time sometimes After all, we are all here to learn more. Or most of us, at least.

I would probably be one of those you are referring to as leaving the comments you don't want to get.

Understand, I don't say it to be mean, I say them so that you will get better and improve. I noticed you are kind of consistent when it comes to entering out of focus images. I think you are more concerned with a theme match, rather thanks photo quality. I honestly leave the kinds of comments I would want because if I am doing something wrong, I want to know. Sure, it's nice to get nice comments all the time, but wouldn't you rather know what you are doing wrong? The worst are no comments at all.

sure josh... you are not really a bad commenter i know you just want to help... but sometimes people like CMYK46 just leave you bad comments which can only despair you... those are what i call bad comments

Welcome to the site (CMYK's comments are among the most helpful, in my opinion)
