I've red flagged spammers in the comments section of entries. I hope that was good enough.

Thanks Bob, that helps too, the spammers are getting more cunning though, the spam left in entry comments was discovered and removed quite quickly. Then they started adding comments to tutorials, and now to profiles, it can be some time before these spams are found.

is it not possible to remove all posts made by the account including removing the acount and blocking it? completely remove all the persons data?

We have been removing the accounts as fast as we find them, one problem is that the spammers are now using dynamic IP's. I think comments in entries would be removed when an account is deleted, but I'm not sure about comments on profiles or tutorials, I can ask Frank.
