I've already contacted the admins, but I've never received any replies so I'm looking for help here.

I submitted only two pictures on this website quite a while ago and all I really want is for my photos to be taken down - it was a stupid move on my part to associate this username with the photos, but I really wish for some help here.


If someone could bring this to the attention of the people in charge, or give me a way to get into contact with people who can deal with this (and not just ignore my emails) that would be great.

Just ask to have your account deleted.

Your name doesn't show on the members list, do you have another username outside of the forum? Admin doesn't respond very quickly but with so little information from you I can't help. Give your user name (used in the contests) and where the pictures are with a link so they can be found.

As far as I know entries made in a contest will not be deleted on request.

This to avoid members wanting to remove bad entries and besides that they are entered into a contest and technically with entering a contest you transfer copyright of that entry to the contest holder...
But with a very good valid reason to remove, you never know

Hello, it's OP. I guess they went ahead and deleted my account, even though I didn't ask for that. The problem is that the associated pictures are still up and linked to the account - I search for my username on Google and they show up.

I don't see the problem with deleting my pictures since they were posted over a year ago and the contests are over, but if there's no way to delete the pictures is there a way to delete the username or change it?

If you're referring to contest entries then you can't delete those images. Once you submit an entry they become the shared property of Pxleyes and yourself much as robvdn suggests. Entries made with copyright free images many of which are under a CC license and subject to the CC license type used by the source(s).

Ah, I guess I'm out of luck then? No chance at removing my name from them?
