Well, I am just a begginer in photoshop but i try to make as much images as i can to improve my skills.

I've done one image and then when i was giving the final retouches i changed the opacity and got a different result. Which one is better and which things should I improve?

Sorry for bad english, I am Portuguese btw

[NOTE] I heard somewhere that I should resize my images to put them on forum but i am not sure what size is right.

Try to play with the blending mode (overlay or maybe multiply) from the map image, up to you if you also lower the opacity or not.
That you add some shading can be ok, but look well where the light source from the egg image comes from.
Good luck!

You can enter any image you like when there's a Mixed Media contest in the Photoshop section, or find one of the contests that inspires you and enter an image.
