Good idea! The effect is rather subtle, but i think that works in favour of your image. Very nice job.

I found an image on flickr of an old man to reference from. There were different poses but I liked this one.
This was my first real attempt at pointillism and it came out pretty decent I think. (5 years and 3243 days ago)

took me roughly 25 minutes, i did it after i got off of work earlier
i might start doing pointilism drawings from now on, i like it
