I used to dream that the universe was way different. Space is filled with rock and dirt. Planets are just air-pockets in the dirt. The sun and the moon would orbit the center of the planet. The stars in the sky are just city lights on the far side of the air-pocket.

Hello everyone. This is my first entry.


EYES OF THE EARTH

A word that cannot be spoken
a future that cannot be seen.
A life that cannot be lived,
and a power so impossible,
you couldn`t dare but dream.

Peaks on mountain tops,
and glaciers of translucent ice,
the world has wonderous creations,
that can turn men into mice.

Answers that cannot be solved
and truths that cannot be told.
It`s what separates the weak and the young,
from the wise and all-seeing old.

Voices that cannot be heard
and passions that cannot be felt.
Emotions of this darkening earth,
that will cause your heart to melt.

Poverty that kills the innocent
and a rich man`s everlasting wealth.
All the death and destruction of the world,
we bring upon ourself.

Hate that brings anger,
and love that cannot be made,
we walk among the shadows of a world
that will forever fade.

A message in a floating bottle,
a scripture on the palace wall,
their words gaze out to us,
come one come all.

Memories of long ago
Tales of an unforgotten past,
bonds that are forever broken
and never seem to last.

Pages that cannot be turned,
and doors that cannot open,
Feelings of one another,
just waiting to be spoken.

Raindrops dripping down the window
teardrops falling from her eyes,
of choices that were made,
a waterfall of lies.
