Photography contest suggestion: Bona Patina
Contest goal:
The term Patina is described as: Any fading, darkening or other signs of age, which are felt to be natural or unavoidable (or both). Objects with "Nice Patina" are very popular today.
The word "patina" comes from the Latin for "shallow dish".
Largely a term for oxidized metals, figuratively, patina can refer to most any object with a distressed finish.
So, lets see what your catches your (camera's) eye in the world of the nicely aged.
