  1. Beautiful collection! I wanted to let you know there was a discrepancy in one of the photos, I believe the wrong picture for Kite Runner may in place. I thumbed you up on Stumble ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. The image titled “PoiPoi” has been photoshopped.

Long exposure techniques used to photograph the spiralling circles of fire is not at all in keeping with the frozen single frame of the woman jumping in the air.

  3. Even though some of the shots are brilliant I find it very hard to believe that none of these have been put through photoshop, its very easy to see especially cloudy day and bering sea sunset that they have had some work done on PS.

  4. In any gallery with photos there is at least one child that screams shopped. Go tell your mommy she’s calling you because nobody cares. No one is impressed with your pretend knowledge either. ut and will ne

Incidentally, I think everything here is nice, shopped or not. I stumbled in and out so I’ll never see your scathing response.

  5. so many naive, cliche, snowclone images have I never seen
and they are overshopped beyond belief
yeah, -37*C in Siberia and the water is not frozen

  6. yes it was -37 C in Siberia, but the water was not, therefore it can’t freeze. thermal spring/river/pond/lake does exist. so now, the photo is pretty awesome.

  7. most of these photos have been retouched in photoshop, “Bering Sea Sunset” is a type of photography which involves combining multiple images and requires online software , that doesn’t mean that these are not real and incredible scenes shot by masterful photographers, but almost every professional picture goes through photoshop.

  8. Some collections of photos titled “Photos that will blow you away” really dissapoint me, but these are AMAZING. I love these pictures, totally blown away. <3

  9. I love B/W photos and was particularly interested in the “Option” photo is it possible to get a copy of it? Excellent collection i don’t care what anyone says. Thanks for the beauty of it all.

  10. @ Dubious: It’s easy to achieve if you either a: Use the flash at the start or end of the long exposure. Or b: do a Multiple Exposure, which you could do with a negative, so not necessarily photoshopping but using a photographic technique.

Amazing photos, quite possible some colours have been touched up here and there, but nothing that you couldn’t achieve in a traditional darkroom.

  11. What is the hang up with using photoshop !!

Nobody would have said ‘did not use dark room, printed by Boots’ on their images in the past !!

A good selection of images most of which are achievable with a bit of talent and a bit of luck ๐Ÿ˜‰

  12. Not photoshopped? Give me a break. These have been painfully over photoshopped. IT’S LIKE HAVING THE VOLUME ON TOO LOUD SO THE MUSIC DISTORTS.

    Use it more sparingly.

  13. It says that none of these pics are photoshopped. Well the 2nd picture, of the clouds is definitely ‘Photoshopped’
It’s an HDR photo, and you cannot end up with an HDR photo without some sort of third party software.

  14. When indicating “not photoshopped” is this to mean that the photos were shot RAW? And never touched by anything? No manipulation whatsoever? I could buy that for a few but some would be difficult to believe. However, beautiful “art”.

  15. amazing and wonderful
every photograph is a master piece – behind it lots of painful preparations are there

  16. Fabulous, thank you! Nothing like a site like this to bring the self-proclaimed “experts” out, though, even though it does nothing but showcase their own ignorance. The Siberia picture with water running at -37C is very obviously taken at a hot spring, and the River Dance one of aurora — anyone who has actually seen the Northern Lights can tell you this is NOT color-enhanced, and most of us who live where they’re a common occurence have seen ones more brilliant than this. Was it Mark Twain who said it’s better to keep your mouth shut and have people think you’re ignorant than open it & remove all doubt?

  17. u sure none of them are photoshopped? they are amazing pics, no doubt about that. i believe many of them were taken raw but just a few stuck out

  18. I LIKE ALL OF THEM ….SSOOOO ….. COOOOOL …..PICS……..THE PHOTOGRAFER DON HIS / HER JOB .. VERY WEL…..AMAZING….I THINK ..HIS / HER EYES.. R .ASLO …BEAUTIFUL…THANX…
    .

  19. It is not only amazing but put all of us in a gayful mood since the picutes we have now seen are wonderful which we ever seen on our own.

Thanks for puttting us in a very very gayful mood.

  20. Give me a break. This post is completely misleading. They say none of these images were photoshopped… but they don’t say that none of them were digitally altered. So they used raw editing software or Lightroom or Topaz. Some of them I would believe are unaltered, but not all of them.

I’m a professional photographer and I’m sorry, but some of these photos just have colors that are too vibrant to be taken straight from the camera with no alterations. At the very LEAST they had to bump up the saturation or contrast or use some HDR to expose the clouds and landscape evenly.

Some of the photos that have DEFINITELY been digitally altered in some way (even if they’re not “photoshopped”) are Cloudy Day, Bering Sea Sunset, Glowing Barrel, Riverdance, Paragliding 2, and possibly more. Clouds on Fire looks like it has been run through a Topaz filter for sure. Clouds do not normally have all of that darkening around the edges.

Sorry, I’ve been doing this for way too long. It annoys me when people try to make it sound like they’re photo purists when they’re not. What’s wrong with saying they’re digitally altered? They’re gorgeous photos of incredible things, I don’t think anyone is going to care. You don’t need to mislead people.

  21. really fantastic…… hats off to the photographers……… you all have taken so much effort to catch these moments……… I can imagine that..
