Another month of thrilling photoshop contests has ended! We’ve collected the 50 highest scoring entries from the Pxleyes photoshop contests that were active during the month May 2010… This list is ranked by the final scores of the entries.

But how often do you see a card to insult somebody? Like a card with a manual how to wash your stinky feet or a text saying “Can’t you move to Japan or something?” (actually, this card really exists!). Your goal is to make the funniest, most offensive card that can be addressed to somebody (not to a specific person, so no PXL member either), using images and text, so a nice design/layout is appreciated. Don’t make the idea for the card too rude and onedimensional (no swear words), but rather go for original and smart insults. Good luck!

This contest will give you the chance to do so. Take a look at the old contests on Pxleyes and use the theme idea or the source image to create your work. If you work for a company or are a freelancer, it’s not unusual that you have business cards. Most of them contain at least your name, profession and perhaps e-mail, web address or phone number. Many of these cards however are a bit straight forward and don’t get your attention, while that can be quite important if you’d like your future client to remember you! Your goal is to make a nice business card. Not only does it have to show what function the person from the card represents (i.e. graphic designer, so then something with a wicked design), but if you want to, it can even look beyond the traditional paper card. Maybe you prefer to give an apple with your info printed on it, so it stands out above the casual cards? It’s all possible, but be aware if the client would be happy with it. Since you can not use your own name (entries have to remain anonymous), you can use a fake name (John Doe, Alan Smithee, etc). If you want you can put it in a nice presentation or show how the “card” should be like in a certain situation. Good luck!

Here in Ohio, there are many quilters, so one of the highlights of our county and state fairs is the quilt show. For this contest, come up with a quilt design, the more unusual the better. This is not just a single quilt block, but a quilt where blocks are joined together and displayed in some way (hanging, on a bed, folded, etc.) Some people even make coats from quilts. Let your imagination have fun with this contest.

The goal is to use any of the photos in this album and manipulate them into anything you want. You could make a nice wedding card, put them in a wedding dress, turn them into zombies, give them wings, … or anything you can think of! Outside sources are allowed, but one of the pictures of the album has to be visible in your entry. Good luck!

Shoes come in lots of sizes and designs, but most of them are made of leather, rubber or plastic. Your goal is to design a shoe that is made out of any kind of material or object. For example, a shoe made from fish or marshmallows. Whatever you decide to make it from, the original material used has to be recognizable. Comfort is not a priority, the most important is your shoe’s originality. You can also show the shoe around someone’s foot if you like. Good luck!
