The Best Art Sculptures By Mark Newman
Born in 1962, Mark Newman is an American artist who has a career of 19 years behind, if we calculate only his professional activities. Newman has a remarkable style expressed through art, through his vivid looking sculptures that appear to be freakishly alive!
He spends a lot of time in his studio (Mark Newman Sculpture Inc.) where he molds some of the best sculptures the modern world has seen. Newman believes in practice, drawing, observing forms and people and getting inspired by other artists.
Whatever he decides to create, impresses either by detail, the lively look or even by grotesque or disturbing appearances. The shake reality, pushing us into different dimensions of art. As a sign of respect and appreciation towards his artwork, we gathered in this post 50 of his most impressive sculptures!

( 1 year and 269 days ago )I agree, I keep thinking that maybe some of his characters were used in a movie or something.
Wonderful work, love the mix of topics, from normal human to outlandish beast.
( 1 year and 269 days ago )Very neat work. It’s awesome that there are a lot of different types. It’s also cool to see emotion in the sculptures.

( 1 year and 240 days ago )the sculptures were based off characters in movies not the other way around…
( 1 year and 236 days ago )Sculpture 35 is Dark Phoenix from X-Men, the first one is Kratos from ‘God of War’ (a videogame), and a few look like they are based on Gollum from Lord of the Rings. Frankenstein, Pierce Brosnan, King Kong, and Alice in Wonderland (or alternatively they could be characters from the videogame ‘Alice’) are pretty obvious. A lot of them look like they could be from videogames. I wish they had titles and/or explanations instead of just sculpture numbers. All of them are amazingly detailed and gorgeous, though.
