Technology brings to surface more and more talented artists who create astonishing digitally manipulated images on every possible theme and illustrating everything that you could possibly imagine and even more. But then we still have the “classics”, for whom the pencil and paper are the genuine and compulsory materials in creating works of art.
This is our third post from the “pencil drawings” series posts and it shows 50 brilliant portraits of men created by the technique of traditional drawing, without any digital manipulation. Some of them can easily trick the eye into believing that they are real photos of real people, that’s how beautiful and expressive they are. True masterpieces.

Howdie stranger!

I got a real pleasure watching this collection. All portraits are simply amazing. It’s a clever piece of work
( 2 years and 386 days ago )These are beautiful.
( 2 years and 384 days ago )all the pictures are really most beautiful
( 2 years and 355 days ago )I’d disagree about the “Jesus of Nazareth” one being on the list. Since its not ultra realistic at all, he doesn’t look Israeli at all, or Jewish in any sense, he doesn’t even look middle eastern, the ‘real’ Jesus was all of those things. Unless its a drawing of an actor who has played Jesus.

I’d disagree about that portrait since Jesus doesn’t actually exist.
( 2 years and 303 days ago )Most of these are hardly “ultra-realistic.” Hell, a lot of them aren’t even all that good.
( 2 years and 294 days ago )Those drawings are beautiful , so smooth and well done.
you’re very inspiring, i’d love to have a drawn portrait like that.
good job
Great job! Very well done. The Jensen Ackles drawing made my day. Supernatural is my favorite show
Awesome!
( 2 years and 196 days ago )I think about half of these hold up to the standard of “ultra-realistic.”
Some are quite gorgeous, though. I love “Splash,” “Father,” and the larger portion of “Depp.”
( 2 years and 195 days ago )You’re very creative artist! Amazing paintings! Thank you for sharing. It was all very beautiful!
I wish I can be a little 50% of your talent to draw. I’m really impressed of your fine work!
Theay are amazing! Some more than others, but these artists are really talented

( 2 years and 162 days ago )one advice. these are not self portraits.
( 2 years and 154 days ago )yes, my mistake. looked. leaped. looked again. my bad.
( 2 years and 154 days ago )My fav is splash, all others are excellent, but the level of detail in splash is way too good.
( 2 years and 147 days ago )These is a nice collection of male portraits. I can’t believe Splash is a drawing and not a photo. It’s fantastic.
( 2 years and 133 days ago )Dear author,
I came across your blog while stumbling. Although I liked your collection very much (its jawdropping), I would like to point out an error. The potrait under the name “India Name” is not actually of an Indian man but of a Nepalese man. I am from Nepal and the hat the guy’s wearing in the potrait is a part of our national attire. So, I would be really greatful if u changed the name.
Sincerely,
Aayush (from Nepal) =)
just wounderfull
( 1 year and 113 days ago )Where did u learn to draw like this???
( 1 year and 112 days ago )Thanks so much, you people got me creeping in my car and drawing unsuspecting pedestrians. I feel like a stalker.
A very interesting blog post. Glad I ran into it. Felt it was worthy enough to be tweeted on Twitter and sent this link to several of my friends. Thanks for sharing.
