Powerful Historic War Photography

Wars have existed since the beginning of mankind and some form of wars will always exist. The primary feature of the war behavior pattern is a certain state of organized violent conflict that is engaged in between two or more separate social entities. Such a conflict is always an attempt at altering either the psychological hierarchy or the material hierarchy of domination or equality between two or more groups. In today’s post we present 50 captivating photos taken during war periods and we feel the need to mention that the most significant are the World War I and II, the Civil War, the Vietnam War, and even some re-enactment photos. You will also find scenes from other wars and we invite you to observe and become aware of the evolution our world has suffered in the last few decades. Enjoy!

A trip down in human madness.
Thou shall not kill … except if you are paid for it.
Love thy neighbour … except if you can make a profit from it.
War heroes … bringers of death.

We cannot change history, only look at it.
This collection spans the modern wars.
World War I and II, the Civil War, the Vietnam War.
Death count ranges in the 50 millions humans killed.
Who got rich from it? The weapon makers.

This is a great photo topic both in the choice of these pictures and the history lesson it gives us.
