layered in cut-out from my photo of a baby Quaker Parrot, which I had "tinted" blue. Cloned more background and blanket around the baby bird and did some shadow work where the bird's beak meets the foot. (5 years and 3598 days ago)

Perspective is what seemed most important to me about this image. THe photo was taken from a very low angle, almost as if the photographer was laying down next to the object, looking up at it. This precluded my incorporating it into a garden scene, etc. So I took some pics of a bird from a similarly low vantage point, and placed the bird images on the carving as looking down from a high place. All images are mine except the source. I cloned in a more interesting sky. (5 years and 3594 days ago)
