You probably had trouble with the scan because you used vellum which is translucent. Sometimes putting white paper pressed up against the back of the vellum can help but the scanner may still pick up the tonality of the vellum.
The photo isn't too bad and I do like what you've created. Very much like a Tim Burton character. GL Reply »

When you have photos like this, that are not straight , load it in photoshop , choose crop, and there's a small case you can check called Perspective. It allows you to make your crop follow the perspective, and when you're finished and press Enter, it will make it straight. Reply »

appreciate the transcluscency of heart, (lil of sword seen through the heart, gives the feel of balloon) also luv the defination of blood(i mean you captured its material quality)...

are the slanted drops of blood falling from sword to ground, suggesting that the sword is still in action?(should'nt it be flowing straight down otherwise...) correct me if i'm wrong...

First off , what do you got like 11 hearts in there? What is so damn cool about this is the way all the curves and arc's seem to flow together. The eyebrows arc matching her hairline and then her eyelids. Wonderful!
Also, Kudos to you for rounding off her chin. The hearts in the eyes as light reflections send this over the top! Her nose is great btw. I hate doing noses!.
And finaly, the color tones are superb! Look out Author ,I think you got some Picasso on you! hehehe

Its all good. Mossy is often off in her assessments but always means well in my opinion. I think its pretty clear that her elbow is behind her. The hands and fingers are fantastic in my opinion. I like the way you blended the skin tones on the big face especially . Reply »
