Sorry for not so good render, and model of a clamp. This is my first entry in contest of this type. This picture is made in 3DS MAX 2010, deffualt render with skylight and light tracer, for nuts i used spheres and strech them a little bit, apply some noise and some wood texture :), also for the interior of the nut I used a texture from real nuts inside and with tiling and offset i make it to look (I think) nice, clamp made with plane modeling with reference picture, and plate with solid line and applyed lathe modifier with some cartoon texture. Great job if this is your first time with 3ds. I suggest lower perspective and maybe edit some shadow settings. You obviously know the concept of keeping it simple, thus realistic
However, the walnuts are a bit too big and im getting the feeling that the paper plate is not all paper, if u know what i mean
