From the hallows it emerged. I created all of the maps.
I created the hand using a box and just used diffuse colors for the material. The hole was made by rearranging vertices on a plane and then insetting and dragging the inner polygons down. The ground material was created by using a dark brown background in Photoshop and then using root brushes, I made it look like cracked earth. I then desaturated the image and adjusted the levels for a bump map. The bump map was set to 45. I made two omni lights (one red, one yellow) in the bottom of the hole to simulate fire, and one omni light in the back tinted dark orange. I then spiced it up with a little volume fog and done. yeah Cazanah he is upset that you caught him under the tree... his thoughts are "your little @$$ should be sleep right now!"... its a little dark b/c i wanted it to have a creepy atmosphere. thanks for all of the support and feedback.

Nice house, the tree looks like its just stuck under it rather than supporting it though. Not sure how your program works but i'd suggest you increase the size of the tree substantially, chop off the top of it then sit the house on there and get rid of the base with the staircases.
