I know this is taking the description to the extreme. But when I think of a tablet I see medication.
Still I think it fits as the description does not explicitly say it had to be a computer tablet and pharmaceutical companies are continually bringing out new tablets in their war.

But I'd bring up the lighting on the LH side, it's too dark and does not accurately reflect the lighting above the book on the table. The light will illuminate the entire surface, not just the book.
I actually really like he lighting, I prefer that to flat product lighting. Lovely..good luck

I feel the house's reflection is placed a bit too much to the right.
like the scale -- looks like a view of a toy landscape
looks great author.. I am not sure about this, but your source links just goes to cgtexture home page.. I am of the opinion that you should show the specific texture u have used.. Also the contest theme says sbs is mandatory.. so put up one before the mods pull u up!! good luck..

Considering your first entry its really very nice....Keep it up author...GL....Ya the image is a little pixelated but a nice effort....
3ds max's jpeg compression sucks. my advice is that you save the file as .bmp and open it up on photoshop then save it as .jpeg there, that way you'll image won't be very blurry and pixelated.
Nice work on this.....great for your first 3d entry......I have been thinking of trying my hand at 3d but it looks very complicated. Keep up the good work!!

Most of the objects are created and painted with ZBrush.
Few objects are created with 3DS Max.
The mouse is create by his mother..oups.. I mean is a picture photoshopped.
Final render with mental ray.

Important edit only for 3D junkies :)
Not satisfied by the first mental ray render I' ve made a new one with V- Ray. See the old one in SBS step 12.
Change only the two mr omni with two planes v-ray light. UV maps made in ZBrush just changed from Arch& Design to V-Ray mtl. And the table texture , of course.
IMO V-Ray is much better for interiors scene. Or i dont manage the correct settings for MR. (5 years and 3455 days ago)
